Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is hiring a Lube and Tire Technician for on-site work in the Midwest. You will perform oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments and related tasks, while also driving customers, picking up parts, and keeping the shop clean.

Compensation ranges from $16 to $19 per hour depending on experience, with benefits including insurance, vacation, and retirement plans. A safety-conscious team environment and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• General understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their place of residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles following all guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by supervisor.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas.
