Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is hiring a Lube and Tire Technician to perform oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments and related tasks. The role includes driving customers, picking up parts, and keeping the shop clean while following safety and state guidelines.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, availability for five days a week including Saturdays, and a basic understanding of automotive mechanics. Benefits and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• General understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies and tires from vendors or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle safely and within traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections as directed.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Document vehicle condition using the Multi-point Inspection and Repair Order.
• Maintain cleanliness of the shop and showroom.
