Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is hiring a Lube and Tire Technician to perform oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, flushes, and related duties. You may drive customers, pick up parts, and keep the shop clean as needed.

Compensation ranges from $16 to $19 per hour depending on experience. Benefits include bi-weekly pay, tuition reimbursement up to $3,000 annually, paid vacation and sick time, 6 holidays, health/dental/vision, company-paid life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• General understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, tires, and supplies from vendors or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle safely and obeys traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections following guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervision.

Skills

Driver's license
