Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician to perform oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, and related tasks. You will also drive customers, pick up parts, and keep the shop clean and organized.

Responsibilities include basic maintenance per direction, documenting vehicle conditions, and adhering to safety guidelines. Competitive benefits and opportunities for advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• General understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates the company vehicle safely and in accordance with traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections following guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and proper documentation of vehicle condition.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
