Tire Discounters in Walton, KY is hiring a Lube Technician to perform oil changes, tire services, and routine maintenance with a focus on safety and customer care. You will inspect systems, recommend repairs with ASE technicians, and help keep the shop organized and efficient.

This role offers competitive pay from $16.00 to $20.00 per hour, weekly pay, and a clear career path from Lube Technician to Service Manager.

Qualifications

Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to operate basic automotive tools and equipment; mechanical aptitude is a plus.
Valid driver's license.
physically able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a shop environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; automotive experience is helpful but not required.
Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Deliver top-tier vehicle care by performing oil changes, other system fluid exchanges, and essential routine maintenance like battery, filter, and wiper replacements, backed by our service process.
Be a key player in keeping customers safe by inspecting vehicle systems and identifying repair recommendations with ASE certified Technicians.
Build trust with customers by performing quality vehicle inspections with professional recommendations.
Show tire expertise by mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing tires with TPMS diagnostics as needed.
Utilize state-of-the-art shop equipment and latest technology.
Take pride in maintaining a clean, efficient, and customer-ready workspace and accurate service records.
