Job summary

Salt Lake Valley Chevrolet is hiring Experienced Express Technician, Quick Lube Technician, and Entry Level Technician to join our Tire, Lube, and Maintenance team in West Valley City, UT. This fast-paced environment helps you build a career in the automotive field and apprentices are routed into the main shop under top technicians.

Responsibilities include oil changes, tire rotations, TPMS relearn, fluid checks, inspections, and delivering excellent customer service to our customers.

Qualifications

• Automobiles knowledge and fast diagnostic abilities.
• Analytical and communication skills, eager to improve.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year in a service department preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must have your own tools to start.

Responsibilities

• Check and communicate oil level to teammates.
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation.
• Fill out Electronic Multi-Point Vehicle Inspection forms.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
• Complete vehicle inspection.
• Rotate tires, torque lug nuts, and relearn TPMS.
• Replace oil and oil filter.
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Providing excellent customer service, keeping in mind that our customers’ perspective comes first.

Quick Lube Technician Responsibilities

• Check and communicate oil level to teammates
