Job summary

SLV Buick GMC is looking for experienced Express Technician, Quick Lube Technician, or entry-level technicians to join our Salt Lake Valley and Sky Auto Group locations in Salt Lake City and Provo. This role helps you develop key automotive skills in a fast-paced shop environment at a Ford dealership culture that values service to customers and colleagues alike.

Proven maintenance techs progress in the main shop as apprentices to top technicians.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of automobiles and speedy diagnostic abilities.
• Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year in a service department preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Check and communicate oil level to teammates.
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation.
• Fill out Electronic Multi-Point Vehicle Inspection forms.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
• Complete vehicle inspection.
• Rotate tires, torque lug nuts, and relearn TPMS.
• Replace oil and oil filter.
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service with the customer’s perspective in mind.

Quick Lube Technician Responsibilities

• Check and communicate oil level to teammates
