Job summary

Hanania Automotive Group in Jacksonville, FL seeks an automotive technician to perform routine maintenance, diagnostics and repairs, while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will inspect vehicles, communicate with the Parts Department, and support team goals in a family-oriented dealership environment with opportunities for ongoing training and career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; automotive technical training or certification preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic automotive maintenance following dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose vehicle issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Inspect vehicles for additional service needs and install optional equipment as specified by the customer or dealer.
• Inspect and test drive newly delivered vehicles for damage and missing components.
• Report machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor and maintain dealership tools and manuals.
• Communicate effectively with the Parts Department and service advisors to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean and in optimal condition, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
• Uphold high safety and ethical standards, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support dealership operations and objectives.
