Main Street Auto is seeking a Lube Technician in Grand Rapids, MI. You will service customer vehicles, check and change fluids/filters, air tires, and input maintenance data into our computer system. You will explain services to customers and handle payments in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English.
• Complete the Lube Technician training course.
• Previous automotive experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to customer vehicles, including checking and changing fluids and filters, airing tires, and other lube duties; input service data into the computer.
• Explain service to customers and accept payment for services.
• Maintain clean facilities and follow safety rules and regulations.
• Rotate through Lube Technician duties (Upper Bay and Lower Bay, Greeter and Cashier).
• Perform related duties as assigned.
