Job summary

Kool Chevrolet – Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a motivated and reliable Quick Lube Technician to join our Service Department. If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in quality, this is a great opportunity in a supportive, team-focused environment.

You will perform oil changes, basic maintenance, inspect fluid levels, rotate tires, and assist with repairs while communicating with Service Advisors. This full-time role offers $17/hour plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Willingness to learn and grow within the automotive service field.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and routine maintenance services on a variety of makes and models.
• Inspect fluid levels, filters, belts, hoses, and tires; document findings.
• Perform tire rotations and basic maintenance repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and OSHA safety procedures.
• Communicate any concerns or recommended repairs to Service Advisors.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Kool Chevrolet in a professional manner.
