Cooper Auto Group is seeking entry level to skilled Lube Technicians for a fast-paced shop in Oklahoma. Responsibilities include oil changes, fluid checks, belt and filter inspections, and tire and air level checks.

Training is provided and a valid driver’s license with a clean record is required. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and automotive training, strong communication, and a customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; automotive technician training is preferred.
• One year of relevant experience is preferred.
• Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Check all fluids and maintenance-related parts; top-off or replace fluids/filters as needed.
• Perform routine service inspections and standard maintenance jobs.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles during service and repair.
• Ensure documentation is complete and complies with regulations and standards.
• Follow shop policies, safety and environmental rules.
• Support shop appearance and safety; assist with inventory and general tasks.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings; perform other duties as assigned.

Joe Cooper Lincoln of Edmond has immediate openings for entry level to highly skilled Lube Technicians. This position will focus around basic maintenance to include but not limited to: oil change, check transmission and other fluids, inspect various belts and filters, inspect brakes and tires, and check air levels and gauges. Training will be provided.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED with training at an automotive trade school and/or experience. An unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record and strong physical dexterity and stamina to get the job done are required. Candidates must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world class customer service.

Responsibilities

• Checks all fluids and maintenance-related parts and tops-off or replaces fluids or filters/parts as required


• Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs


• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs


• Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards


• Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules


• Helps maintain shop appearance and safety standards and ensures the shop runs in an efficient manner by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functions


• Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required


• Performs other duties as assigned
