Mark Porter Auto Group in Kentucky is seeking a Lube Technician who takes pride in doing a job well. If you enjoy hand-on work and solving mechanical puzzles, you will fit right in and help keep our community moving safely.

You will be the first line of defense for customers' vehicles, performing routine maintenance and learning from senior technicians in a supportive shop culture. Hands-on training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Technical school certification or equivalent hands-on automotive experience.
Foundational knowledge of vehicle maintenance and engine components.
Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Reliability and a strong sense of personal accountability.
Basic computer skills for navigating service software.

Responsibilities

Perform routine oil changes and filter replacements with careful attention to detail.
Conduct multi-point inspections to identify potential mechanical issues before they become problems.
Rotate and balance tires to keep our customers safe on the road.
Check and top off essential vehicle fluids including coolant, brake fluid, and transmission fluid.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency in the shop.
Collaborate with senior mechanics to learn more complex repair techniques.
