Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a General Service Technician at Christian Brothers Automotive - Avon Ohio, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Completing maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, etc.
• Performing thorough Digital Vehicle Inspections with customer approval, including examining the vehicle and discussing recommended services supported by photos, measurements, and detailed findings.
• Following all rules and regulations set by management, including those in the employee handbook and any addendums.
• Maintaining a positive attitude and team spirit at all times.
• Representing the organization professionally with honesty, integrity, and respectfulness.
• Adhering to OSHA safety rules and local regulations regarding shop safety, spill clean-up, and hazardous materials.
• Assisting with housekeeping duties as directed by management.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• One to three years of experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Small toolbox or roll cart with basic tools for oil changes and tire rotations.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands include:

• Occasionally lifting/moving over 100 pounds.
• Working with tools on vehicles lifted above head level.
• Working in tight spaces.
• Using hand tools efficiently.
• Walking/standing for most of the workday.
• Driving manual transmission vehicles.
• Maintaining a brisk pace in a high-volume environment.
• Navigating a computer efficiently.
