Job summary

T5 West Operations dba Take 5 Oil Change in Kingman, AZ is seeking a Lube Technician for a full-time, day shift. You will learn and perform oil changes, blade/air filter replacements, tire inflation, and other light maintenance, while delivering friendly service to customers in a fast-paced retail-like environment.

The role requires safety in a pit, physical stamina, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable working under cars in a shallow pit.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to communicate with the public.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and replace oil filter.
• Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Assist the customer in selecting oil type and other services.
• Deliver excellent customer service both verbally and in writing.
• Process payments for services performed.
• Perform coolant exchanges and fill services.
• Restock and maintain on-floor inventory.
• Maintain shop, office, and bathroom cleanliness.

Lube Technician Position Overview

We are looking for a people person with an outgoing and positive attitude. You will be trained to change oil, replace wiper blades/air filters, fill air in tires, and perform other light maintenance services. The job is similar to restaurants or retail environments.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable maneuvering in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit used to position yourself safely under cars
• Will walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling and turning
• May need to work in hot/cold weather conditions
• Must be alert and aware of your surroundings
• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
• Must be able to communicate with the public
• Need to have reliable transportation

Pay: $15.25 - $20.25 per hour
Schedule: 8 hour shift, Weekends as needed
