Job summary

Rohrman Automotive Group is seeking a Lube Technician to perform oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and preventive maintenance to deliver quality workmanship. You will learn from experienced and Master Technicians in a fast-paced dealership environment, documenting work accurately and following safety requirements.

No prior experience is required, but basic mechanical aptitude and a valid driver's license help.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; a background in automotive service or a related technical field is a plus.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment and manage time efficiently.
• Own a basic set of personal hand tools (specialty tools provided by the dealership).

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, lubrication services, and other preventive maintenance according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Inspect and replenish vehicle fluids and check and adjust tire pressure as needed.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and communicate any recommended or additional services to the Service Advisor.
• Document all work performed accurately on the repair order.
• Keep customer vehicles clean and notify the Service Advisor of any concerns or changes in vehicle condition.
• Work alongside experienced and Master Technicians to learn proper diagnostic, repair, and maintenance procedures.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored and in-house training to continuously develop your automotive skills.
• Maintain dealership tools and equipment and keep your work area clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow all OSHA, hazardous waste disposal, and dealership safety requirements.
