Job summary

Athens is seeking a Lube/Utility Technician in California. This role reports to the Maintenance Manager and performs lubrication, fluid level checks, cleaning, and preventative maintenance on vehicles and stationary equipment.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, completing paperwork in the work order system, evaluating oil analysis, troubleshooting lubrication problems, and supporting overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in heavy truck equipment maintenance or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend service/technical information.
• Valid Class C Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Must possess personal tools.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily fluid & lubrication inspections on all equipment.
• Perform lubrication services on site equipment and processing line.
• Inspect stationary equipment for issues and prepare for shift change.
• Complete all paperwork in the computerized work order system.
• Evaluate oil analysis results and recommend maintenance actions.
• Troubleshoot lubrication-related equipment problems.
• Overtime may be required; perform other duties as assigned.

SummaryThe Lube/Utility Technician reports to the Maintenance Manager.
