Job summary

Mills Automotive Group in Willmar, MN is seeking an entry-level technician to perform maintenance on Guest vehicles. This role offers on-the-job training and potential to grow into a full Line Technician position.

Daily tasks include oil changes, inspections, fluid checks, tire work, and wheel alignments. Candidates should have attention to detail, quality workmanship, and strong guest service mindset; prior automotive experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; automotive experience not required, but welcomed.
• Comprehensive training available to develop skills and grow into a Line Technician.
• Candidates should be passionate about the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend services.
• Inspect fluid levels and perform fluid flushes when required.
• Inspect, rotate, and replace tires; perform wheel alignments.
• Grow skills through on-the-job training.

Description

This is an entry-level position that has the potential to grow into a full Line Technician position if desired. This position performs automotive maintenance services on Guest vehicles. Qualified candidates must possess high attention to detail, high quality workmanship, effective communication, World Class Guest Service skills, and the ability to work independently and productively.

Duties and services may include, though are not limited to:

• Completing oil changes.
• Performing multi-point inspections and recommending services based upon results.
• Fluid level inspections and fluid flushes when required.
• Tire inspection, tire rotates, and tire replacement.
• Performing wheel alignments.
• And more as you grow your skills!

Prior automotive experience is a plus, though it is not required. We have outstanding training opportunities available to those willing to grow. Through Dealership and Manufacturer Training this position can grow into a full Line Technician position. Candidates must be passionate about working in the exciting Automotive industry!

The workdays for this position are Monday through Friday, with a rotational Saturday. Our facilities are always closed on Sunday, and on designated Holidays throughout the year.

The starting hourly pay rate range for this position is $16.00 – $17.00+ and will be evaluated based upon relevant skills, training, experience, education and other job-related factors permitted by law.
