Job summary

Southern Motors Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking a reliable Lube Technician to join our growing service team. You’ll perform oil changes, inspect systems, and assist with basic maintenance to keep customer vehicles safe and running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in automotive maintenance, a valid license, strong attention to detail, and good communication. ASE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of automotive maintenance or repair experience preferred.
• ASE certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and time management abilities.
• Commitment to providing top-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and fluid top-offs according to manufacturer specifications.
• Inspect vehicle systems and components for leaks, wear, or other potential issues.
• Check and adjust tire pressure as needed.
• Replace filters, windshield wipers, batteries, and other basic parts.
• Lubricate moving parts to ensure optimal performance.
• Keep engines and work areas clean during servicing.
• Communicate vehicle concerns to lead technicians or service advisors.
• Complete accurate service reports for customers.

Join the Southern Motors Service Team!We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Lube Technician to join our growing service department. As a Lube Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our customers’ vehicles running safely and efficiently through expert maintenance and attentive service.
