Job Title: Lube Technician

Job Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, 84104

Schedule: Second Shift, Monday through Friday

Hourly Pay: $30 - $35 per hour depending on experience

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a talented Lube Technician with an active CDL A or B to work a swing shift to support customers out in the field. The starting hours range from 2:30 - 7PM, and may switch to 6PM - 3AM depending on customer needs, which comes with a shift differential. In this position you will be in a truck at customer sites changing oil and fluids and taking hydraulic samples. You'll also do visual inspections of the heavy equipment.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Perform machine system oil and filter changes
• Take fluid samples per predetermined schedules
• Lubricate moving parts on the machinery
• Perform daily maintenance checks on heavy equipment, including fluid checks, grease/lube points, and inspections to avoid unnecessary downtime
• Check and fill other fluid reservoirs such as hydraulic systems, coolant systems, brake systems, and washer fluid
• Clean machinery cabs, glass, and mirrors
• Document work performed in CDK system
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain parts needed
• Complete all DOT paperwork daily
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of fuel, oil, filters, etc.
• Perform visual inspections on machines and report conditions/deficiencies
• Comply with all safety and environmental requirements

Qualifications / Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active CDL A or B required.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Flexibility to work various schedules, including shift work.
