Job summary

Bowser Automotive is seeking a motivated Lube, Oil & Filter Technician to join our Service Department. This entry-level role offers on-the-job training and opportunities to learn automotive service while building a career with Bowser.

You’ll perform routine maintenance, oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections to keep vehicles safe and well-maintained. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn are valued as you collaborate with the service team.

Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license required.
• Previous automotive service experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic hand tools required to perform assigned services.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes.
• Perform tire rotations.
• Complete routine vehicle maintenance services per dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Inspect vehicles and identify maintenance or service needs.
• Accurately document work performed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Manage multiple service tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Communicate professionally with Service Advisors, customers, technicians, and management.
• Follow dealership, manufacturer, OSHA, and safety procedures.
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality.

What You'll Do

As a Lube, Oil & Filter Technician, you'll perform routine maintenance services while helping keep our customers' vehicles safe and properly maintained.

• Perform oil and filter changes.
• Perform tire rotations.
• Complete routine vehicle maintenance services according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Inspect vehicles and identify potential maintenance or service needs.
• Accurately document work performed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Manage multiple service tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Communicate professionally with Service Advisors, customers, technicians, and management.
• Follow all dealership, manufacturer, OSHA, and safety procedures.
