Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is hiring Lube Technicians at our New Jersey locations. This full-time role focuses on routine maintenance, oil changes, tire rotations, brakes inspection, and basic diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, and basic diagnostics.
• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels.
• Communicate appropriate customer vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison.
• Assist in other duties as assigned within Service Department.

Who We're Looking For:

• 1-2 years of automotive repair experience
• Recent technical school graduates
• Ability to independently perform oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, and basic diagnostics
• ASE and/or Manufacturer certifications a plus
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence

What You'll Do:

• Perform minor maintenance, e.g., changing engine oil and filters
• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels
• Communicate appropriate customer vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison
• Assist in other duties as assigned within Service Department

Total Rewards

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $20.00. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
