Job summary

Keyes Hyundai of Mission Hills is hiring a lube technician to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and fluid top-offs in a busy service environment. You’ll join a team that emphasizes safety and quality in every vehicle.

The role requires at least 1 year of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to learn with support from the service team. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of prior lube technician or automotive maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance including oil changes.
• Able to work in a team and follow safety procedures.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations.
• Inspect and top off fluids, replace filters, and perform basic maintenance.
• Communicate findings to the Service Advisor.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Ensure work meets Hyundai and dealership standards.

• Pay: $18.472-$25.00 hourly
• Schedule: 5-day work week with Sunday’s and 1 rotating weekday off
• Department Hours: Monday–Friday: 7am-6pm, Saturday: 8am-4pm, Sunday: Closed

What You’ll Do

• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and multi-point vehicle inspections.
• Check and top off vehicle fluids, replace filters, and perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Inspect vehicles for maintenance needs and communicate findings to the Service Advisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
• Ensure all work is completed and following Hyundai and dealership standards.

What You’ll Bring

• 1+ year of prior lube technician, express technician, automotive maintenance, or mechanic experience, but do not require it.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid services.
• Work in a team-oriented environment.
• ASE certifications but not required.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

Total Rewards

The California pay range for this position is $18.42-$25.00 hourly. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
