Freeport Ford, LLC is seeking a Ford Lube Technician to perform routine maintenance and basic automotive services in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. You will support the Service Department by completing maintenance work accurately to keep vehicles moving through the shop.

The Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and basic automotive services in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. This position supports the Service Department by completing maintenance work accurately and helping keep vehicles moving through the shop in a timely manner.
Perform routine oil and filter changes according to Ford specifications.
Perform tire rotations, inspections, and basic tire services.
Check and top off vehicle fluids as needed.
Inspect belts, hoses, brakes, tires, lights, and other basic vehicle components.
Perform basic maintenance services and inspections as assigned.
Properly document work performed on each repair order.
Follow Ford service procedures and dealership guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Properly use and maintain shop equipment and tools.
Communicate any additional maintenance or repair needs to the Service Advisor or appropriate technician.
Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Follow all dealership and OSHA safety procedures.
Assist other technicians and the Service Department when needed.
Previous automotive experience preferred but not required.
Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and mechanical systems.
Ability to safely operate shop equipment and tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Reliable attendance and dependable work habits.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and develop automotive skills.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and work in various positions for extended periods.
Ability to lift and move automotive components and equipment as required.
Ability to work safely around vehicles, lifts, tools, and shop equipment.
Ability to work in a shop environment where noise, temperature changes, and automotive fluids may be present.
