Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Lahaina, HI seeks a friendly Luau Greeter to create a memorable first impression for guests. This 4-hour evening shift requires greeting, seating, orientation to grounds and events, and assisting with special needs and guest flow.

You will work closely with the Luau Manager and staff to ensure safety, compliance, and exceptional guest experiences. Previous guest-facing experience is required; a positive attitude, clear communication, and a genuine Spirit of Aloha are essential

Qualifications

• Previous guest experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in guests while making a memorable first impression.
• Ensure positive guest services in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guest into return guests.
• Prepare tickets and reserve signs for check-in.
• Support Luau Cashiers during guest check-in by managing guest lists, wristbands and hand stamps.
• Be alert and ready to support emergency procedures or special accommodations as needed.
• Inform guests of grounds, facilities and amenities.
• Escort Guests to their seats.
• Must work closely with the F&B Luau Manager, and all Luau staff.
• Must attend all pre-shift and post shift meetings.
• Must perform all assigned pre-shift and post shift duties.
