Qualifications

• Advanced degree plus relevant professional experience in LTSS billing preferred.
• Experience with Maryland DDA LTSS billing system or Medicaid provider databases (e.g., CIMS).
• Proficiency with MS Office and data management tools.
• Commitment to high ethical standards and protecting confidential information.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Capture documentation required for LTSS billing and maintain accurate database records.
• Create, review and distribute billing reports; respond to billing issues and exceptions.
• Adjust previously submitted claims and track resolutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support LTSS billing processes.
• Audit service logs to ensure payment criteria are met and report deficiencies.
• Produce regular reports comparing scheduled and approved units to reduce unfunded services.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures through regular reviews.
