Job summary

Forest Lake Area School District is seeking a Long Term Sub Technology Support Specialist VI to start ASAP at Forest Lake Area Middle School. This position provides technical support to staff for computers, networks, software and related systems.

Work schedule is 8 hours/day, 5 days/week (Sept 28, 2026 – December 2026). Requirements include an Associate degree or two-year certificate in Computer Science or related field and one year of relevant experience; familiarity with Windows, macOS,

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year technical certificate in Computer Science or related field.
• One year of experience troubleshooting and maintaining computer hardware, software, and LANS.
• Knowledge of Windows, Macintosh, Android & iOS operating systems preferred; Google Apps, Chromebooks knowledge preferred.

Forest Lake Area School District is currently seeking applicants for the position of a Long Term Sub Technology Support Specialist VI to start ASAP.

POSITION: LTS-Technology Support Specialist VI

LOCATION: Forest Lake Area Middle School

WORK SCHEDULE: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week (September 28 - expected to last into December 2026)

STARTING RATE OF PAY/RANGE: $22.74

Duties

Provide technical support services to staff for computer, network, software, and related systems.

Qualifications

Associate degree or two-year technical certificate in Computer Science or a related field and one year of experience troubleshooting and maintaining computer hardware, software, and LANS, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties. Knowledge of Windows, Macintosh, Android & iOS operating systems preferred; experience working in school district preferred; familiarity with management of Google Apps, Chromebooks, and iOS preferred.

$22.74 per hour
