Qualifications

At the present time, a vacancyfora long-term substitute Speech and Language Therapist position for school-ageexists within the Division of Student Services for the Chester County Intermediate Unit.Thisposition will serve school agespecial education students within the William Penn school district. This position is temporary and is anticipated to end in December 2026. An extension is possible but is not guaranteed.

• Must have valid PDE certification as a Speech & Language Therapist
• Master's degree in Communicative Disorders
• Certificate of Clinical Competence; Clinical Fellowship year considered
• Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required
• Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by CCIU upon hire)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide speech/language therapy services, complete evaluations and maintain all paperwork for a caseload of students including itinerantclassrooms.

Salary 2026-27School Year:

• $74,415- $107,845- all SLPs with Master's Degree in Speech Pathology/Communication Sciences Disorders(Track I)

** Placement on salary range is determined by years of experience; salary is pro-rated based upon length of assignment.
