Job summary

Faribault School District is seeking a Long Term Substitute Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to support student health services at Roosevelt Early Learning Center. The role runs immediately through about December 21, 2026, with a full-time schedule of 7.5 hours per day, five days per week.

The nurse will manage routine and emergency health concerns, administer medications, maintain health records, and coordinate with parents and school staff under district policy and state

Qualifications

• Nurse/LPN/RN positions will provide on-site hands on management of routine and emergency health concerns as they arise at multiple health offices District Wide according to district policy and guidelines and state law.
• Daily distribution of student's medications, maintenance of student health records and to provide on-going communication with parents, teachers, specialists, principals, and the health service coordinator.
• Ability to collect and report data as directed by the Licensed School Nurse.
• Must be well-organized and willing to work as a team; and be comfortable with using the computer.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Title: Long Term Substitute Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse

Summary

Summary of Position

LTS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as the subject matter expert in general health related areas in the educational school setting. LPN's/RN's working for Faribault Public Schools provide care to students with health needs, refer students to outside providers and assist with screenings and prevention of communicable diseases. The position commences immediately upon hire and goes until approximately 12/21/26. This position is employed full-time for 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week; serving Roosevelt Early Learning Center.
