Job description

Current PA Teaching Certification in Pk-4 or Pk-6 required. The teacher will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for students in an elementary classroom, planning and delivering instruction across core subjects, assessing student progress, and promoting social and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Address disciplinary issues promptly and constructively.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress on a regular basis.
• Use assessment data to guide instruction and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
• Prepare report cards and conduct parent-teacher conferences.
• Promote social skills, emotional well-being, and positive behavior.
• Identify and support students' individual needs, referring to specialists when necessary.
• Work with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to enhance educational outcomes.
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and curriculum planning.

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in elementary education.
  • PA Certification pre-K-4 required. The candidate must be certificated to teach K - 4 in the state of PA.
