Job summary

Engineered Floors, LLC is seeking a LTO Material Handler in Dalton, GA to transport rolls to finishing lines and remove waste from the department, ensuring smooth production flow.

You will move materials, stage goods, tag containers, read work orders, record movements with an RF scan gun, and maintain clean, safe work areas. Overtime may be required. Attention to safety and accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Computer knowledge or data entry skills are a necessary part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment.
• Stage materials or goods before/after production, loading, and unloading.
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
• Record rolls handled or moved on manifest and using RF scan gun.
• Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.
• Maintain equipment safety and condition logs and communicate concerns immediately to supervision/management.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• All other duties assigned by management.
