Job summary

Techniplas is seeking a Material Handler in Dalton, GA to load, move and stage materials using a forklift. You will support production by ensuring timely delivery of supplies and accurate handling of materials.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, operating forklifts, recording weights, maintaining 6S standards, and assisting with quality checks and inventory transactions. Training and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of forklift operation and safety procedures.
• Ability to manage inventory and track materials in a manufacturing setting.
• Awareness of quality standards and production timelines.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload materials from pallets and transport between loading, processing, and storage areas.
• Operate propane or electric forklifts and perform routine vehicle maintenance.
• Document weights and production data on tags or labels.
• Maintain 6S activities and conduct accurate inventory transactions.
• Assist with setup, quality audits, or operate machines to make parts.
• Train new employees and relieve operators for breaks.
