Job summary

Regal Professional Services in Dallas, TX, seeks an experienced LTC technician to assemble, repair, and overhaul Load Tap Changers (LTCs). You will perform electrical and mechanical testing, interpret schematics, and verify control systems while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role also includes delivering technical training for staff and customers, developing materials and manuals, and collaborating with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales to drive process

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years experience with power transformers and Load Tap Changers.
• Experience with transformer maintenance, assembly, testing, or field service.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical documentation skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, repair, and overhaul LTCs.
• Perform electrical and mechanical testing and troubleshooting.
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings.
• Deliver classroom and hands-on technical training for employees, service personnel, and customers.
• Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, and manuals.
• Prepare technical reports and testing documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales to improve products and processes.
