Shift

This position supports evening operations, alternating Monday‑Friday 11 a.m.–7:30 p.m. and 1 p.m.–9:30 p.m. (CL), with rotating weekend days. Within six months, there may be potential for hybrid.

Role Description

As a Staff Pharmacist, you are responsible for the accurate and timely review of medications being processed and dispensed at MMP. You report to the Pharmacist Supervisor and are critical to the operational success of MMP. The position may require long hours and/or weekend work to fulfill responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and identify prescription orders
• Verify prescription order entry in the computer system (PV1)
• Perform prospective drug utilization reviews
• Final check (Inspect) dispensed prescription products (PV2)
• Correspond with medical and nursing staff via electronic, fax, and oral communication
• Achieve productivity and quality requirements
• Assist with immunization clinics at community partner facilities as needed
• Lead by example, exhibiting the CORE Values each day, and adhere to the MMP Behavior Standard
• Encourage teamwork and promote company philosophy
• Attend required company meetings
• Complete all required courses in adherence with the PRS compliance system
• Be prompt and able to perform the required duties of the position on a regular, predictable basis

Requirements

• Current Illinois Pharmacist license in good standing
• Long‑term care pharmacy experience preferred
• Framework LTC knowledge a plus
• Ability to multitask, work under deadlines while maintaining a positive and productive demeanor
