SpecialtyRx, Inc. is a Long-Term Care pharmacy serving long term care facilities and assisted living communities in Ohio. We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our on-site team in Columbus.

The role involves performing duties under supervision, maintaining stock, handling narcotics room work (a plus), and ensuring adherence to pharmacy standards. We value reliability, organization, and teamwork to support patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed OH Pharmacy Technician or trainee required.
• Previous pharmacy and data entry experience preferred.
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus.
• Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
