PharMerica in Huntington, WV is hiring a full-time Pharmacy Technician for a closed-door, non-retail environment serving long-term care and senior living clients. Shift is 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday–Friday with rotating weekends; benefits include health, dental, vision, HSA/FSAs, tuition assistance, 401(k), PTO and more.

You will handle dispensing support, labeling, data entry, inventory, and training new staff; license fees are covered for new hires and existing staff where eligible.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician license as required by state.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting and knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to operate a computer and recognize medications.
• Detail oriented with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Fill prescription items and package medications for dispensing and delivery.
• Label products with cautionary and auxiliary labels.
• Prepare medications including non-sterile compounding.
• Enter patient and prescription data into the system to generate labels.
• Assist with pharmacy inventory management and stock checks.
• Handle returned medications per protocol (credit or destruction).
• Communicate professionally with internal and external customers.
• Assist with onboarding and training new staff.
• Support specialized tasks in narcotics room and IV compounding.
