Job summary

Forum Extended Care Services Inc Ii is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our on-site LTC pharmacy team. You will manage controlled-substance prescriptions, ensure DEA compliance, and support order-entry with refills and new prescriptions.

Qualifications

Current unencumbered license as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
Experience in LTC pharmacy/order-entry environment.
Knowledge of DEA rules and regulations pertaining to long-term care pharmacy.
Excellent data entry and math skills.

Responsibilities

Accurately manage receipt, resolution, and association of written/faxed controlled-substance prescriptions.
Maintain documentation of legal prescriptions for controlled substances per DEA and regulations.
Process C3-5 no-refill reports and weekly control reports.
File prescriptions and physician letters by prescription number.
