Job summary

PharmcareUSA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join a national LTC pharmacy network. The role requires dispensing and input of prescriptions, IV compounding, and daily collaboration with pharmacists to ensure accurate medication delivery to facilities.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Pharmacy Technician license/certification in the working state and is available for full-time shifts, including weekends. We offer medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance, FSA/HSA, and PTO benefits.

Qualifications

• Must maintain Pharmacy Technician license/certification.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work weekends and full-time.
• Licensed in the state of employment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and pharmacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist with input, filling and dispensing prescriptions.
• Perform IV compounding of prescriptions with accuracy and speed.
• Fill prescriptions per rules and regulations of regulatory entities.
• Answer telephone calls and route to Pharmacist when appropriate.
• Prepare medications for delivery to facilities per schedule.
• Assist walk-in customers or direct to appropriate department.
• Assist with medication ordering and inventory management with wholesalers.
• Assist with medication returns and E-Kit management.
• Maintain Pharmacy Technician license/certification.
• Comply with corporate initiatives and use provided tools/resources.
• Other duties as assigned.
