Job summary

Mmprx in Crestwood, IL, is seeking a Toting & Shipping Technician to support labeling, packaging, and preparing prescriptions for delivery to LTC patients. This fast-paced, behind-the-scenes role has a M-F 4p to close schedule (about 12:30 a.m.) with rotating weekends, and requires meticulous attention to detail to meet courier deadlines.

Responsibilities include manual dispensing and packaging, operating automated dispensing and verification equipment, organizing inventory, and preparing orders

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active IL Pharmacy Tech license.
• National Pharmacy Tech Certification required within 4 months of start date.
• Some experience in pharmacy preferred.
• Professional demeanor and appearance with excellent customer service skills.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Able to multi-task and work under deadlines.
• Highly organized and attentive to detail.
• Excellent oral, written, and listening communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manual dispensing and packaging of prescriptions.
• Operating automated dispensing and verification machinery.
• Receiving and organizing inventory.
• Preparing prescription orders for shipping.
• Ensuring all orders are in the correct box/tote.
• Including appropriate packing slips.
• Preparing / applying correct shipping label, based on community, route, etc.
• Constantly focused on details and accuracy.
• Follows core processes.
• Leads by example exhibiting the CORE Values each day, adheres to MMP Behavior Standard.
• Encourages teamwork and promotes company philosophy.
• Attends required company meetings.
• Completes all required courses in adherence with RPS.
• Is prompt and able to perform the required duties of the position on a regular, predictable basis.
