Job summary

MERL, Inc. is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Assistant to support the Pharmacy Manager and staff in delivering excellent customer service and accurate prescription filling. You will assist with labeling, data entry, and responding to inquiries from providers and customers.

The role requires a Washington Pharmacy Assistant license, solid computer and software knowledge, and the ability to work a flexible schedule within a busy LTC pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Washington Pharmacy Assistant License required.
• Proficient computer and software knowledge applicable to the industry.
• Ability to work flexible schedule and manage time independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist with customer service and prescription filling.
• Fill prescriptions including labeling bottles, blister packs, opus cassettes, and medisets.
• Answer calls from health care providers, customers and vendors.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and PHI.
