• Active Pharmacist license issued by the state board.
• Strong knowledge of medication safety, dispensing procedures, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
• Ability to supervise staff and maintain documentation.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to work rotating 10-hour shifts and every third weekend.

Responsabilidades

• Review, verify, prepare, and dispense prescription medications.
• Monitor patient medication compliance and identify misuse or overuse.
• Ensure medications are appropriate for patients' needs.
• Maintain confidential patient records and documentation.
• Counsel patients on use, dosage, storage, side effects, and interactions.
• Provide guidance on prescriptions and OTC medications.
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and staff.
• Maintain inventory levels of medications and supplies.
• Identify drug-related problems and communicate with physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and interns.
• Educate patients on medication safety and device use (BP monitors, glucose meters).
• Support patient care services such as BP monitoring and cholesterol management.
