Job summary

Vantage Care, LLC in Massachusetts is hiring a full-time Maintenance Director responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of a long-term care facility in Westfield.

You will manage the Preventative Maintenance program, control budgets, ensure safety compliance, and lead a team to keep all equipment and infrastructure in optimal condition.

This role requires strong hands-on facility knowledge and a commitment to regulatory standards and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Management experience in Long Term Care Nursing Home.
• Knowledge of maintenance operations for all facility equipment.
• Ability to shut off main power, water, and gas supplies to the facility.
• Attention to detail in equipment and machinery.
• Familiarity with Bloodborne Pathogens exposure plan and Fire & Disaster Plan.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budget, accounts payable, staffing, reports and documentation.
• Manage Preventative Maintenance program and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain all facility equipment in a safe, functional condition.
• Maintain furnishings, grounds, plumbing and electrical fixtures.
• Ensure fire safety readiness.
• Participate in Quality Improvement and Department Head meetings.
• Commit to full-time role.

We currently accepting applications for a full-time, 40 hr/week Maintenance Director.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must have Management experience in Long Term Care Nursing Home.
• Must have knowledge of general maintenance and functions of all equipment
• Must have how to turn off main power supply, water supply, and/or gas supply to facility
• Must be able to see small details, in equipment, machinery, etc.
• Must be knowledgeable of Exposure Control Plan for Bloodborne Pathogens and Fire & Disaster Plan, and follow policies and procedures

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for budget, accounts payable, department employees, reports and required documentation
