Responsibilities

• Accept and accurately dispense prescription medications while maintaining compliance with legal regulations
• Monitor patient medication adherence and identify patterns of over-usage
• Maintain confidential records and manage pharmacy files with precision
• Counsel patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions
• Provide additional patient services such as smoking cessation guidance, blood pressure checks, and cholesterol management
• Educate patients on the use of medical devices like blood pressure monitors and glucose meters
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions following strict procedural standards
• Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks, ensuring smooth operations

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled pharmacist ready to support long-term care and mail order pharmacy services on the second shift. Over an 8-week contract period, you will play a key role ensuring safe and effective medication use for patients.

Position Details:

• Location: Waukesha, WI
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM, with some Saturdays
• Contract to Hire
• Two openings available
