Job summary

Osceola Regional Health Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse - Long Term Care to provide direct nursing care to residents according to established standards and policies. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, care planning, and collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team in a resident-centered environment.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited nursing program diploma, a current Iowa LPN license, CPR certification within 3 months, and willingness to complete mandatory abuse

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• A minimum of two years of nursing and/or long-term care experience preferred.
• Current LPN license in the State of Iowa; CPR certification within 3 months of hire; mandated abuse reporter training within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists the RN in documenting and implementing the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Contributes to the development of the resident care plan and coordinates services across the continuum of care.
• Maintains resident rights and provides education to residents and families.
