The position offers day shifts on site, with night/weekend differentials, education assistance programs, and a $2500 sign-on bonus. Benefits vary with full-/part-time status.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of six months housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to use a computer and prior cleaning experience is helpful.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, equipment and cleaning chemicals is helpful.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Previous custodial experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment in patient/resident rooms and common areas.
• Empty waste baskets, sweep, scrub, wax or polish floors as needed.
• Follow infection control, safety and procedural guidelines during duties.
• Wear appropriate protective equipment and keep storerooms and carts tidy.
• Assist in laundry areas when appropriate and operate cleaning equipment safely.
