Job summary

Lutheran Home in Wauwatosa, WI is seeking a Regular Full-Time Cook to join our team at the campus. This role offers hours 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM, with every other weekend and holiday; the facility is a skilled nursing long-term care and memory care community in the heart of Wauwatosa.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year cooking/food prep experience in LTC, assisted living, or hospital setting preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push, and move a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted.
• Enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a great work history.

Responsibilities

• Cooks are responsible for meal preparation in accordance with established menus, standard recipes, and specialized diets.
• The Cook must assure that all sanitation and food safety regulations are followed.
