Job summary

Southwest Range Services in the United States prepares LTAMDS test items, test sites, and related equipment to support program testing. Tests are conducted following approved OTPs, SOPs, and NRDs, with data collection and environmental monitoring integral to each operation.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from a two-year technical program or three years LTAMDS-related experience.
  • May require ammunition and explosives certification per IAW ATEC 385-1 Chapter 14, Level II.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Applicant selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility for access to classified information.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work around weapons systems in exterior environments.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares LTAMDS test items, test sites and related equipment in support of testing.
  • Conducts tests in accordance with OTPs, SOPs and NRDs.
  • Coordinates tasks with test procedures, methodologies and requirements.
  • Maintains detailed chronological event logs for LTAMDS events.
  • Cross-utilizes into other jobs as required; overtime and TDY up to 30%.
