Job summary
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN LTAC for a 13-week assignment in Sylvania, Ohio. This role requires 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts. Active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS & ACLS, plus 18 months LTAC experience with vents, trachs, drips, and telemetry are required.

Qualifications
- Active RN License
- Degree from accredited nursing program
- BLS & ACLS Certifications
- Eighteen months of LTAC experience
- Experience with Vents, Trachs, Drips, EG Tubes and read Tele-strips
- Other requirements to be determined by the client facility
Responsibilities
- Provide care for 5-6 patients in LTAC units.
- Adjust and perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage admissions and discharges.
- Monitor and administer medications (oral, subcut, IV).
- Educate patients and families on procedures and illness management.
- Monitor equipment, read telemetry, and notify team of irregularities.
- Perform duties of a registered nurse at all times.
- Care for patients with COPD, CHF, A-Fib and pulmonary HTN.
- Use computer systems to monitor vital information.
- Start IVs and draw blood from start to finish.
