Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Long Term Acute Care in Oregon, Ohio. This LTAC travel assignment requires an RN with 18 months LTAC experience and current BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Eighteen months of recent LTAC experience required.
• Experience with vents, trachs, drips, ET tubes and telemetry reading preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for 5-6 LTAC patients.
• Monitor and administer medications (oral, IV, etc.).
• Adjust care in a fast-paced LTAC environment.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and post-care needs.
• Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
