Job summary

Chicago Bridge & Iron Company is seeking a Civil Structural Engineer to work on design and analysis of LT&C storage tank structures globally. The role requires a Civil Structural Engineering degree and 0–10 years of related experience, with PE licensure desired.

The engineer will produce calculations, specs, and construction documents, collaborating with designers, project engineers, and management while maintaining safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Structural Engineering from an accredited school.
• 0 to 10 years of industry experience in civil structural engineering.
• Professional Engineering licensure is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and analysis of LT&C storage structures, including steel plate structures and concrete outer containment.
• Produce design calculations, specifications and construction documents per design codes and standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with drafting, modeling and project teams.
