Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a motivated Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) to support surveying and engineering teams on land development and infrastructure projects. This entry role offers hands-on field and office experience with a clear path toward licensure.

You will assist field operations, prepare plats and maps, and work with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in surveying or related field, LSIT or near-term licensure, and a willingness to grow toward Professional Land

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in surveying/geomatics/civil engineering or related field.
LSIT certification or ability to obtain shortly.
Familiarity with survey principles and data collection methods.

Responsibilities

Assist field survey operations, including data collection, measurements, and site reconnaissance.
Support boundary, topographic, construction, and ALTA/NSPS surveys.
Process and analyze survey data using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software.
Prepare plats, maps, legal descriptions, and survey drawings.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and survey crews to ensure accurate project execution.
Maintain survey equipment and ensure data quality and accuracy.
Assist with construction staking and layout as needed.
Support project documentation and ensure compliance with local, state, and client requirements.
